What is SnapGlass?

Snap Glass™ is a single-layer polycarbonate with glass-like clarity, but virtually unbreakable. Highly impact resistant. It is very flexible and lightweight. It is thinner than a piece of single glass. Lends itself to rapid assembly and less fasteners. 100% UV protection.

Snap Glass™ is used in a variety of hobby greenhouses including the ever-popular Enthusiast Greenhouse.

Frequently it has been demonstrated at tradeshows and conventions by a golfer hitting a golf ball and impacting SnapGlass panels. The golf ball simply bounces off the surface with absolutely no damage to the SnapGlass panels. SnapGlass panels have a 100% guaranteed if one should break!

On the Easy Grow Black Clear View greenhouse SnapGlass panels are used on the walls and a twin layer 4mm polycarbonate material is used on the roof sections. These sections have a "bronze" or "root beer" color which acts as a shade cloth, protecting your plants from direct sunlight from above. More plants die from too much heat than from cold weather.
