Glass greenhouse panels let in intense direct light that creates

The R-Value is the
measurement of insulating ability of the material. The higher the R-Value, the greater
the insulation value.
The U-Value is the
measurement of heat loss through the material. The lower the U-Value, the less heat is
escaping.
Many hobbyist greenhouses are
classified as season extenders and are not designed for year round growing if you live
in areas where it's cold and snows. For cold conditions select a greenhouse with the
thickest panels and also use a gas or electric heating system.

A
corrosion-resistant, solar powered piston extends 12" to open and close greenhouse vents
automatically. Piston wax expands and contracts adjusting the vent as temperatures change.
Opener supports up to 15 lbs.
This ingenious device automatically opens and closes the vent when the temperature gets too
hot or too cold.
Away for the day or weekend? This device will monitor the temperature inside your
greenhouse and retain hot air when closed or allow ventilation when too hot.
The parafin wax in the piston expands to open your vent automatically
